Master Plan for Industrial City Development in Saudi Arabia

VBTM has been commissioned by Atkins Global to define the engineering work required for wastewater and waste treatment and collection facilities for a new industrial city development at Ras Al Khair in Saudi Arabia.

The work will involve a wastewater characteristics study, assessment of the water balance to determine the extent of water reuse opportunities, and engineering design of wastewater and waste treatment plants. VBTM will also conduct a review of existing wastewater network and pumping station designs and odour abatement facilities.


VBTM Provides Assistance for New Housing Development

VBTM has been engaged by Weetwood Environmental Engineering to assess whether existing wastewater sewerage and treatment facilities will support a planned new housing development in Lancashire, UK.

The property developer proposes to build a new housing estate, shopping precinct, nursing home and primary school. VBTM will undertake a feasibility study and impact assessment in relation to wastewater treatment and infrastructure capacity and advise the client on appropriate options to support the proposals.


VBTM Conducts Feasibility Studies for Veolia Water

January 2011

Veolia Water operates and manages water and wastewater facilities for the Ministry of Defence. Veolia has commissioned VBTM to undertake a performance efficiency review of a wastewater treatment works in Dunbartonshire, Scotland and make recommendations to improve operational performance. The study forms part of the Aquatrine Package B Public-Private Partnership water and sewerage investment scheme. A feasibility report for a proposed future upgrade of the works has also been produced.
